to Korea as Part of Global Expansion

Tink Labs의 주력 상품인 handy 스마트폰은 파트너 호텔 투숙객에게 무료로 제공되는 in-room 어메니티로, 무제한 국내외 통화 및 데이터 통신, 럭셔리 도시 가이드와 언제, 어디서든 호텔 서비스와 연락할 수 있는 연결성을 제시한다.
또한, 호텔리어에게는 고객 서비스 향상에 따른 경쟁사 대비 차별화를 도우며 수익률 증가에 기여하는 TripAdvisor 리뷰 사전관리, 푸시 알림 공지, 빅데이터 분석 등 여러 가지 유용한 기능을 탑재하였다.
handy는 2012년에 서비스를 시작하여 홍콩, 싱가포르, 런던을 기반으로 현재 20개 도시, 12만 개의 객실에서 만날 수 있다. 또한, 2017년 상반기 안으로 제주, 도쿄, 베이징, 상하이를 포함한 전 세계 50개 도시에서 선보이게 된다.

handy devices, currently available in Hong Kong, Singapore and London, deliver hassle-free travels and meet a growing demand for Internet connection services. Tink Labs’ flagship innovative smartphone is a complimentary amenity in partner hotel rooms, integrating with hotel services and offering travelers unlimited connectivity on the go, as well as tailored travel guides.

In addition to Seoul, handy is expanding to over 50 additional cities in the coming months, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Mumbai.

Tink Labs first launched in September 2012 with handy, an innovative mobile travel solution aimed at both domestic and foreign travelers. Now, handy combines the functionality of a personal smartphone and hotel services into one fully integrated device. Each handy smartphone is customized for the hotel and provides travelers with free unlimited Internet, local and international calls, as well as an interactive city guide and one-click access to the hotel's concierge and amenities. The handy service benefits popular cities as a tourist destination by making the city more travelerfriendly, offering customized city guides and travel tips. Ultimately, handy users enjoy hassle-free travel while discovering new places and enhanced experiences. To date, handy is available in 20 global cities, covering more than 120,000 rooms and has helped 10 million travelers stay connected.

The complimentary service enables visitors to travel like a local, finding connectivity and information they need at no cost - withcurated city guides, free unlimited local and international calls, free internet access, speed dial to hotel services, and local emergency and essential travel information.

Beyond connecting visitors, handy helps local hoteliers differentiate and unleash untapped revenue potential, creating a personalized experience to retain customers. Consumer usage in other markets has demonstrated that handy extends the hotel service footprint and increases the use of hotel services, boosting incremental revenues by approximately 20 percent. handy also has helped to elevate the quantity and quality of customer satisfaction, increasing Trip Advisor ratings by an average of 0.31, which translates to a 3.5 percent increase in RevPAR (revenue per available room) for the partner property. The platform’s data and analytics also help hotel partners better understand customers to provide more personalized services and increase hotel service utilization.

As one of the top three largest start-ups in Hong Kong, Tink Labs raised $125 million in its latest round of funding to expand globally, with investors including FIH Mobile, Sinovation Ventures and Cai Wensheng.
